How many points will it cost?

Points plane will entice passengers to travel to many coastal destinations, with flights between Sydney and Hamilton Island costing just 12,000 points for economy or 27,600 points plus taxes for business class. With over 3,000 flights available for redemption, members will be keen to act quickly and secure themselves a bargain holiday. Olivia Wirth, CEO of Qantas Loyalty, commented on the promo:

”This promotion marks a record release of Points Plane and while strong demand and higher fuel prices have seen the price of airfares for all airlines increase off historic lows over the past 18 months, the points required to book these seats haven’t increased in years.”

”In addition to these Points Planes, there are more than five million reward seats available for frequent flyers over the next year across Qantas and Jetstar domestic and international flights, as well as our network of 45 partner airlines.”

Plenty of points-earning opportunities

In the last financial year, Qantas frequent flyer members have earned a staggering 118 billion Qantas points, most of which are earned via credit cards and other reward partners.
